Chicken Manicotti

Ingredients 1 pkg manicotti shells 2 cups shredded chicken 1 jar Alfredo sauce 1 jar Spaghetti sauce 2 Cups grated Mozzarella cheese, divided Instructions Cook the manicotti shells al dente. Meanwhile, mix the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, and 1 cup Mozzarella cheese. Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Fill the cooked manicotti shells with the chicken mixture. Cover the shells with remaining spaghetti sauce and sprinkle with 1 Cup Mozzarella cheese on top.

Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients 3 oz cream cheese (softened) 1 cube butter (softened) 1 tsp vanilla 16 oz powdered sugar Instructions Mix together, adding milk if necessary to get to spreading consistency.

Garlic Chicken Farfalle

Ingredients 3-4 chicken breasts 1 (12 oz) Lawry’s mesquite marinade with lime juice 1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled 1 (16 oz) pkg farfalle pasta ½ cup butter 2-3 cloves garlic 1 cup heavy whipping cream pepper (to taste) ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese Instructions Put chicken and marinade in the crock pot on low for 6 hours. Take marinated chicken out and shred. Fry bacon and crumble.

Marci's Green Salad

Ingredients 2 bags of lettuce 1 pint strawberries 1 Cup Monterey Jack cheese (shredded) Dressing 1 Cup vegetable oil 1⁄2 Cup red wine vinegar 2 tsp fresh garlic (or 1 tsp garlic powder) 3⁄4 Cup Sugar 1⁄2 tsp salt Mix in blender and pour over salad before serving.

Peasant Bread

Ingredients 1 pkg dry yeast (2 1⁄4 tsp) 2 C warm water 1 Tbsp sugar 2 tsp salt 4 C flour Instructions Mix in a large bowl until blended. Cover and let rise until it has doubled in size (about 1 hour). Divide into 2 rounds and place on a cookie sheet. Cover and let rise for 1 hour. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cornmeal. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes.

Sunshine Salad

Ingredients 1 large pkg cook-n-serve pudding 1 small pack instant lemon pudding 1 small pkg orange Jello 1 cup milk 1 can mandarin oranges 1 (8 oz) tub cook whip Instructions Make large lemon pudding according to package directions. Dissolve orange Jello in 2 cups boiling water and combine with pudding. Pour into 9x13 pan until set. Mix instant lemon pudding with milk and combine with cool whip.

The Best Sugar Cookies

Requires 1 hour chill time for batter Ingredients 2 Cups sugar 2 Cups soft butter 6 eggs 6 tsp baking powder 7 Cups flour 4 tsp vanilla Instructions Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until blended. Add flour and baking powder and stir together. Chill for at least 1 hour. Roll out on floured surface to 1⁄3 inch thick and cut into shapes.
