Sushi Stacks

Summary

Ingredients

  • 3 C rice
  • ½ C Yoshida’s Sauce
  • 1 ½ Tbsp brown sugar

Toppings

  • Cucumber
  • Avocado
  • Shrimp or crab
  • Sriracha mayo
  • Crispy onions

Instructions

  1. Cook about 3 C rice.
  2. Place 1/3 C rice vinegar, 2 Tbsp sugar, and 2 tsp sesame oil in glass measuring cup and mix. Pour over the cooked rice and stir together.
  3. Place ½ C Yoshida’s Sauce and 1 ½ Tbsp brown sugar in a medium saucepan and stir well. Allow to simmer, stirring occasionally until it starts to thicken (about 5 minutes).
  4. Layer rice and toppings as desired.
