Smash Burger
Summary
Ingredients
- ground beef (5 oz per person)
- buns
- cheese
- season salt or salt & pepper
- oil (high flash point)
Instructions
- Form beef into 2.5 oz patties
- Preheat griddle
- Toast buns
- Oil griddle
- Place all beef balls on griddle
- Let brown slightly, then flip
- Smash each ball into a patty. (don’t smash it too hard)
- Let beef cook in it’s own juices until it crisps up, then flip.
- Add cheese to each patty.
- Stack patty on patty and add to bun.
