Memphis BBQ Sauce 2
BBQ Sauce for the smoker.
Ingredients
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 5 Tbsp sugar
- 3 Tbsp light brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp dark brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon)
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp liquid hickory smoke (optional)
- 1/2 Tbsp coarsely ground white pepper
- 1/2 Tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 Tbsp mustard powder
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in saucepan over medium-high heat
- Cover and bring to a boil
- Reduce heat and simmer until thickened (about 1 hour)
