Fluffy Dinner Rolls

- ¾ C milk
- 4 Tbsp butter
- ¾ C hot water
- 4 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 4-4 ½ C flour
- 1 heaping Tbsp yeast
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
- Pour milk and butter into glass measuring cup and heat in microwave for 1 ½ minutes.
- Pour milk/butter mixture and hot water into mixer. Add yeast and allow to activate.
- Add sugar, salt, and 2 C flour and let it mix for about 1 minute. While mixer is going, add 1 C flour at a time until the dough comes away from the side of the bowl. Mix for about 5 minutes.
- Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
- Coat the inside of a 9x13 pan with butter. Cut dough into 12 pieces, gently roll them into balls, and place in pan.
- Put pan in warm oven and allow rolls to rise for about 20 minutes, or until they have risen about 1 inch above the pan.
- Turn oven up to 350 degrees and bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Brush with softened butter and serve warm.
