Bone Broth

Summary

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ lb assorted beef/chicken/pork bones
  • 1 small onion (peeled, trimmed, and cut in half)
  • 1 medium carrot (peeled, and cut into 3 pieces)
  • 8 C water (plus more if needed)
  • 2 Tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 4 garlic cloves (peeled and smashed)
  • 1 (1 inch) piece of fresh ginger (peeled and cut into 3 coins)
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Place bones and vegetables in Instant Pot. Add water to cover bones and veggies. Add other ingredients.
  2. Cook on high pressure for 45 minutes. Naturally release for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Strain broth through fine mesh sieve and season with salt to taste.
