BBQ Meatballs
Meatballs covered in a BBQ glaze.
Ingredients
- 1-2 Onion Soup Packets
- 1 1/2 sleeves saltine crackers (crushed) OR breadcrumbs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 3 eggs
- salt and pepper
- 3 Tbsp honey mustard
- 1/2 C ketchup
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Sauce
- 1/4 C ketchup
- 3/4 C BBQ sauce
- 1 C brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine meat, soup packets, crackers or breadcrumbs, 3 eggs, salt and pepper, 3 Tbsp honey mustard, 1/2 Cup ketchup, and 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce.
Line two cookie sheets with tinfoil and spray with cooking spray. Roll the meat into 2 inch balls and and lay them out evenly on the trays.
Bake for 20 minutes. While the meatballs cook, make your sauce by combining 1/4 C ketchup, 3/4 C BBQ sauce, and 1 C brown sugar.
When the meatballs have a dark, crispy exterior take them out of the oven and drizzle 2 tsp of sauce over each one. Put them back in the oven for 15 minutes. Serve.
