Apple Pie Jam

Ingredients

  • 12 Cups diced, peeled apples
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 packages powdered fruit pectin
  • 3 Cups sugar
  • 2 Cups packed brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In Dutch oven, combine the apples, water, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook and stir over low heat until apples are tender. Stir in pectin and bring to a full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Stir in sugar and return to a full rolling boil. Stir and boil for 1 minute.
