Chocolate Coconut Bars

Ingredients 1 C sugar 1⁄3 C margarine 1 1⁄3 C coconut 2 eggs 1 ½ C flour 3 tsp baking powder 1 tsp cinnamon ¾ tsp salt ½ tsp nutmeg 1 pkg chocolate chips Instructions Bake in 9x13 pan about 15 minutes at 375 degrees.

Granola

Ingredients 8 cups oatmeal, quick or regular 6 cups rolled wheat 2 cups coconut 2 cups sunflower seeds 2 cups wheat germ 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar Glazing 1 cup water 1 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp vanilla 1⁄2 cup honey Instructions Mix together glazing and warm until honey is melted. Pour over rest. Mix well. Bake 200 degrees for about 1 hour. Stir often.

Layer Cookies

Ingredients ¼ C butter 1 ½ C graham cracker crumbs 1 C semisweet chocolate chips 1 C butterscotch chips 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk 1 1⁄3 C shredded coconut Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter in a 9x13 pan and melt in oven. Swirl to coat bottom and sides with butter. Spread graham cracker crumbs evenly over the bottom of the pan. Pour chocolate chips and butterscotch chips over crumbs, pour condensed milk over chips, pour coconut over milk.

Ranger Cookies

1 C margarine 1 C sugar 1 C brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 C flour 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt 2 C Wheaties 1 C coconut 1 C chocolate chips, raisins, or nuts 2 C quick oatmeal Instructions Mix and drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 minutes.
