Smoked Whole Turkey

A great recipe for the big day.



  • plum, apple, or mesquite


  1. Brine turkey (optional)
  2. Apply All Purpose Rub on the outside and under the skin
  3. Leave turkey on counter while prepping smoker
  4. Preheat smoker to 225°F to 240°F
  5. Place turkey breast side down on smoker
  6. After one hour, flip turkey and insert thermometer probe
  7. Continue cooking for 5.5 hours or until thermometer reads 165
  8. Remove turkey from smoker and allow it to rest for 30 minutes before carving


Yields: 10-12

Cook Time: 6.5 hours
