Refried Beans

Great refried beans for a finished product or the start of something wonderful.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz dry pinto beans
  • 8 C water
  • Garlic powder and salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse pinto beans and place in InstantPot with water.
  2. Add garlic powder and salt.
  3. Cook on High Pressure for 45 min. Can force release or use natural release.
  4. Drain liquid from beans, but reserve the liquid.
  5. Add about ½ C of liquid back in and blend. Add more liquid to desired consistency.
  6. Add more salt to desired taste.
