Cheese Fondue

Ingredients 2 cans cheddar cheese soup ¼ cup butter or margarine 2 cups milk 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp garlic salt 1 Tbsp prepared mustard Swiss cheese – grated or sliced (desired amount) Instructions Melt over low heat and serve with French bread.

Clam Dip

Ingredients 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese dash Worcestershire sauce 2 Tbsp lemon juice, or 1 whole lemon 1 Tbsp dried onion 1 can clams and enough juice for the right consistency. Instructions Mix together.

Cranberry Salsa

Ingredients 1 bag (12 oz) fresh cranberries ¾ cup sugar 1 medium jalapeño 2 Tbsp cilantro 1 tsp cumin 2 green onions 1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese Instructions Blend all the ingredients, except the cream cheese, in a food processor. Place cream cheese and a little salsa (about 1 Tbsp) into the Kitchenaid and whip until creamy. Spread onto a platter. Pour the salsa over the cream cheese and serve with tortilla chips.

Shrimp Platter

Ingredients 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened ½ cup sour cream ¼ cup mayonnaise 2 cans broken shrimp, rinsed and drained 1 cup cocktail sauce 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese 3 green onions, chopped 1 large tomato, diced Instructions Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Spread on a 12 inch glass plate. Scatter shrimp over the cheese layer. Cover with cocktail sauce then sprinkle Mozzarella cheese green onions.

Smoked Cheddar Cheese

Ingredients 2 blocks of 8 oz cheddar cheese Wood apple, alder, or cherry Instructions Prepare smoker for cold smoking. Place cheese on grate and apply light smoke for 4 hours. Remove cheese from grate and refrigerate in Ziploc bag for 2 weeks.

Smoked Cheese Sticks

Ingredients 24 cheese sticks Wood apple, alder, cherry, or oak Instructions Prepare smoker for cold smoking. Lay cheese sticks on grate with about 1⁄2 inch between them. Apply light smoke for one hour, maintaining temperature less than 90° F. Remove cheese sticks from grate and refrigerate in Ziploc bag for 4-10 days.

Sweet Chex Mix

Ingredients 2 cups white Karo Syrup 2 cups sugar 3 cubes butter ½ box wheat chex ½ box corn chex ½ box golden grahams peanuts almonds coconut Instructions Boil Karo Syrup, sugar, and butter. Pour over cereal.

Traditional Chex Party Mix

Ingredients ½ cup margarine, melted 1 ¼ tsp seasoned salt 4 ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce 2 2⁄3 cups corn chex 2 2⁄3 cups rice chex 2 2⁄3 cups wheat chex (or cheerios or pretzels) 1 cup salted mixed nuts Instructions Mix all ingredients together. Microwave on high 5-6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Cool. Makes 9 cups.
